Read stored keyword positions, markets, devices, analysis history, and segments with Screpy Rank Tracker MCP tools.
Rank Tracker tools let an AI client inspect keyword tracking already stored in a Screpy project. A position belongs to a particular keyword, market, device, and analysis time. Start with the project returned by list_projects; do not treat a stored position as a fresh SERP lookup.
Find the right keyword record

Keyword and segment IDs are numeric and project-scoped. Obtain them from the listing tools before calling detail or management tools. A null position can mean the stored analysis did not find the site; inspect status and result coverage before interpreting it.
Read a ranking change
List my accessible projects and select [PROJECT]. Find the tracked keyword
[KEYWORD] for [COUNTRY], [LANGUAGE], and [DEVICE]. Show the latest completed
analysis and its previous comparable result, including dates, matched URLs,
positions, and any missing-result limit. Do not add or delete keywords.Compare like with like: the same market, language, device, and keyword. A position movement alone does not establish that a website change caused it. Use the Rank Tracker analysis workflow for a fuller investigation.
Changes require a separate decision
add_rank_tracker_keywords creates mobile, desktop, or both device records and starts initial analysis; it consumes plan capacity and requires explicit confirmation. Keyword deletion also requires confirmation. Segment creation and updates require an explicit request to save rules; segment deletion requires confirmation. Use preview_rank_tracker_segment for a read-only check first.
The MCP server does not provide a Rank Tracker export, live SERP lookup, or manual reanalysis of an existing keyword. Use security and permissions to understand action boundaries and troubleshooting when a tracked result is unavailable.
