Get Started with SEO MCP
Connect SEO MCP, authorize your account, and run your first evidence-based technical SEO analysis with an AI agent.
SEO MCP connects a compatible AI client to the SEO data already available in your Screpy member account. Setup has three parts: add the endpoint, authorize access, and ask a question that can be verified with a tool.
Before you connect
You need:
- A Screpy member account with access to at least one project.
- A compatible client that supports remote MCP servers and OAuth.
- Permission to inspect the project you plan to analyze.
- A completed crawl for page, link, or image analysis.
Setup path
Add the server
Use https://mcp.screpy.com as the remote MCP server URL.
Authorize access
Complete the browser-based authorization flow. The client requests the narrow mcp:use scope.
Verify the connection
Ask: “List the SEO projects I can access.” The agent should call list_projects.
Run a first audit
Select a project and completed crawl before requesting page-level analysis.
Recommended first prompt
List the SEO projects I can access. Do not change anything.
For each project, show its name, URL, and current overview if available. This prompt is intentionally read-only. It verifies authentication, tool discovery, and project access without starting a crawl or changing settings.
What happens next?
